Omar Mukhtar was having a strong relationship with the Senssid movement during his years in Tabhbub .when the government of Italian (high court) ordered that Omar Almakhtar should be hanged in public, he said with an alacrity face this sentence ” From God we came and into God we shall return “; and at that time this sentence was very beneficial to strengthen the Islam in the heart of Islamic society to overcome the fear from the Italian colonial.
This is Omar A-Lmukhtar who was a scholar and revolutionary who strongly led the Libya resistance again the Italian colonial army for 20 years.
Omar was commonly known as the lion of the desert, Omar Almukhtar spent his youth studying Islamic and become a hafidh at a young age, as he was a teacher in the Islamic field.
He determined and decided to protect himself as well as his people from the Italian army, he was fighting with a strong belief in Allah to defeat and throw the Italian colonial army outside his territories. He was tilling that I will not leave my place till I achieve two highest levels( martyr hood or victory) also he was telling that ” i never submitted to an Italian government, I only have a conversation with it. Furthermore, he was inspiring and motivating his people by this commitment sentence ” we die or win we would not leave our territories for Italian colonial, for that Italian colonial army targeted him. After the Italian colonial army captured him they hanged him in front of the public, and they were expecting that the war and Libya resistance would die with him, but the reverse happened. After Omar Almukhtar’s death, the Libyan resistance became persistent until they had defeated the Italian colonial and kicked them from Libya.
Omar Mukhtar was a qualified Islamic lecturer who gave a valuable message to encourage the people to protect themselves from the exploitative and colonialists people and he is considered as an Islamic leader who introduced a lot of struggling to raise an Islam and keep it in high level.
