The most inspiring story of the prophet Ibrahim, (Peace be upon him) Ibrahim, also known as Khalil Rahman. He is the father of Ishmael(Peace Be Upon) and Prophet Muhammad(Peace Be Upon Him) is among his descendants.
The journey of Ibrahim (Peace be upon him) is a call for monotheism. As mentioned in the Holy Qur’an that Ibrahim (Peace be upon him) grew up at the time when his people worshiped stars and planets, idols, and kings. when he grew up, he started realizing the truth and gradually he began challenging his people. He started pointing his fingers on the people worshipping idols and he started giving them Dawah (Islamic Call towards the oneness of Allah) by telling them about the absurdities when they worshiped the moon and the sun, Abraham accepted what they were doing with ridiculous responding, then he came to prove for them that the moon and the sun are absent in a particular time and appear in a particular time. Then he moved to challenge his people in idolatry, by seizing the opportunity of his people to go for a party when they were enjoying their party, Ibrahim destroyed all the idols and left the idols, took a sharp axe and destroyed all and he leaves for them the great one which was the big idols there. When they came to know about that, they said with anger, ” Who did this for our God? Who destroyed all our Idols? Ibrahim smiled and replied, “You should ask the big idol which is considered as the great one. After that, they were not having the answer to reply to him due to they were knowing that they are doing wrong and just they were denying the fact. With utter surprise, they replied to Ibrahim, ” How we can ask these idols when they are not understanding us ?” Why you did this with our Lord ( idols )? Ibrahim said with full confidence, ” If they are not understanding you why are you worshipping them when they are not promoting, sustaining, assisting and providing all the safety for you, those idols could not see, listen and speak. Why are you obeying these inanimate objects which is made by you? What is this kind of mentality for believing the objects which you made by yourselves? They looked at him aggressively and decided to burn Ibrahim to take revenge. They burned him by gathering firewood and digging a hole and threw Abraham (Peace be upon him) inside the fire to burn him but Allah saved him. Ibrahim was not considering or experiencing the fire surrounding him as harmful due to the miracles of Allah for Ibrahim( Peace be upon him ) because Ibrahim was having a strong belief in Allah
Allah said: “They said burn him and support your God if you are doing we said, O fire Be a cold and peace to Abraham and wanted him as a plot We made them losers “(الانبياء: 68,69,70).
The story of Zamzam well (hole)
Ibrahim came out of his country by the command of Allah to Mecca, and he joined with him his wife and son, and Ismail was a baby at that time, they reached to an area lacking the features and facilities of life, he went to search for water at that area, and the mother of Ismail (peace be upon her) left her son in an area called Marwa, and climbed to a mountain called Safa, and jogged in walking seven times, and Ismail peace be upon him was crying from the severity of thirst, and hit his feet against the ground, then from under his feet the water exploded or appeared which is known today as (Zamzam water), and the Kaaba had not built at that time after that Allah ordered our Prophet Ibrahim to build the Kaaba he And his son Ishmael..
